About Cerberus Bytes
Hi, I’m Chris Burns, Animator, 3D Generalist, and lifelong Game Creator. I founded CerberusBytes to bring my debut solo game to life.
Over the years, I’ve built up a wide range of skills in animation, 3D art, design, game development and interactive media. I’ve worked in AAA games, indie development, AR/VR experiences and educational media. Early in my career, I co-founded the indie studio Three Phase Interactive, where we released titles such as the mobile game Stunt Star: The Hollywood Years and the PC Spaceship building game Defect: SDK.
Later, with Twobulls, I contributed to family-focused mobile and AR projects — including Sesame Street Yourself, Oddbods, and others — through Twomoos, the family games division. My skills run from art & 2D/3D animation, modelling, and environment work, through to technical problem-solving in Unity, Unreal, Cocos Creator, and virtual reality platforms.
Why Cerberus?
Making a game on your own is a team effort… even if the team is just you. Like the three heads of the mythical dog Cerberus, solo game creation demands multiple perspectives at once: creative, technical, and design-focused. CerberusBytes is where those three “heads” work together, blending art, code, sound, and gameplay into experiences that feel alive. My first solo game is coming soon, and it’s only the start of what CerberusBytes can do.
